Who We Are
Scan Found Animals is a non-profit organization offering a free microchip scanning service to the public. Our organization is run by volunteers who are dedicated in reuniting lost pets.
What We Do
We scan lost and found animals for microchips, especially when local facilities offering this service are closed or unavailable. If you found a lost animal, please contact us and post it in our Facebook Group.
How We Do It
Each volunteer uses a universal scanner to locate a microchip on the lost animal. If a chip is found, we contact the owner to reunite the lost animal with its family. We can do all this based on tax deductible donations we receive from people like you.

Free Microchip Scanning is available in the following areas indicated below. Please contact us through CHAT in the lower right corner of every page on the website to schedule a same-day appointment whenever possible. We can also be reached by phone (call/text) at (818 493-9700.
CALIFORNIA
San Fernando Valley area, North Hollywood, Burbank, Arleta, Pacoima, Sylmar, Panorama City, North Hills, Lake View Terrace and surrounding areas in Los Angeles.
Washington State
We are looking for volunteer's in Yakima, Spokane and
Seattle.
