Shanea Irene Speidel
CEO, TRAPPER & SCANNER
I am deeply passionate about conducting animal search and rescue missions, specifically focusing on lost, abandoned, and unwanted animals in the streets of Los Angeles. It is my heartfelt desire to assist each and every one of these animals, even if it means using my own resources and dedicating countless hours, sometimes staying out all night for days at a time. Whether it involves finding lost dogs or rescuing them from dire situations, I am committed to bringing them to safety. Once we have them in our care, the work does not cease. We immediately tend to their needs, such as bathing them to rid them of fleas and providing necessary flea treatments. Since most of them are not potty trained, doggy diapers become essential. We are constantly in need of dog beds, pee pads, toys, and food to ensure their well-being. Your support in providing these essentials will enable us to continue helping more animals in need. Thank you sincerely for your assistance.

JENNIFER SPERBER
RESCUE ADVOCATE
Hello, my name is Jennifer Sperber and I am a full-time kindergarten teacher. However, I also have over 20 years of experience in Rescue and have worked in veterinary offices on and off as a receptionist and tech over the past 15 years. I believe that our pets are not just animals, they are a part of our family. Personally, my dogs are my children, and I feel that everyone should feel the same. Part of treating our pets like family is making sure that they are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. By working with the Scan team, I am able to help people reunite with their lost family member/s and encourage them to make sure their furry family member is getting the care they need. If an animal is lost and not microchipped our team is able to help microchip them and if needed make suggestions on proper housing and care that might be needed in order to keep their furry family member safe. I look forward to meeting members of our community and helping them reunite with their furry family.

ANNA MILLER
RETIRED- FOUNDER
After my 7.5-year-old Buddy was lost due to an irresponsible handyman leaving our gate unlatched on May 3, 2022, a series of events occurred empowering me to make "Scan Found Animals" a buzzword in every household.
Having been an ecommerce entrepreneur for 25+ years enabled me to get the ball rolling quickly online. My background, experience and education helped. I have a Master's Degree in Business Education with extensive experience in Training & Communications, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with specific studies and hands on projects in Comparative Animal Behavior.
At age 12, I landed in the hospital with pleurisy. The doctor told my parents it's either the dog or Anna, one has to go. We both stayed, and I entered a lifelong struggle with animal hair allergies. But it wasn't until my mid 40's when I first discovered a true psychic connection with a dog. Since that time, I've had four-legged best friends, companions, rescues, puppies, fosters and adoptees. It's been a journey of true admiration, gratefulness and unconditional love.
As for the people in my life, I must say some of the finest humans who walk this earth are animal lovers, rescuers and those who possess a heartfelt connection with not only their pets, but with all animals. I'm proud and grateful to have met and interacted with many animal-loving friends, new and old, in the Coachella Valley, throughout the USA and worldwide.
Welcome to Scan Found Animals, Inc. created during my last chapter on this planet. It's my silver lining to the horrific loss of my beloved best friend, Buddy, and it's truly the result of divine choreography.
